A 1909 historical national landmark jewel that was once nestled quietly among an enormous orange grove in the early 20th century. When remodeling into the restaurant, very few changes were made in the refurbishment project. The restoration was copied from original existing pieces, whenever possible.
Quick. Raise your hand if you knew that a dolphin was a whale. Not a lot of hands up, are there? Not even mine. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I learned while reading The Adventures of the Thundering Whales. I remember wishing I had a child to read the book to. Then I realized what I really wanted was a movie version of the book, with all its characters portrayed in glorious color, like a "Finding Nemo", but with so much more to say.
have got a long, long history of embarrassing myself in front of bands I like. I tried to talk to Martin out of The Answering Machine once, back when they didn't suck, slipped on beer, smashed my head on a cymbal stand and stood there grinning at him with blood and eyeliner running down my face. And there's a story about Jonny Marr that doesn't bear repeating.

I started writing the book first from the point of view of Lory Lewellyn, then I began to write a lot of pieces from the point of view of the father. The two started building up in separate files. And it was only gradually, as I began to reorganize and revise, that I began to see how the two could make a common journey.
I have been going to the Alcove for some time. I never have a bad experience. They have never messed up my order but I am a pretty laid back person so I understand that if they were to mess it up it would be okay cause that happens with any restaurant. People who think other wise should get a grip. The atmosphere is great and the food is good. Red Velvet cheese cake please. The best coffee.
